"I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

"This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. "

"Property is good for 1 or 2 days break. The staff is excellent, but internet was poor and needs to be have something done. We could jot get any signals and the internet was poor, we could joy plan anything while in the hotel."

"Basic, well managed property, clean and away from the noise of the main avenue. It has a nice nature walk in the back which was a plus. The restaurant could be better, in fact I noticed this everywhere I stayed and ate in CR, a major disappointment as far as the cuisine. I get better CR food in Queens NY. "

"Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. "

"The food and drink are amazing! It is a beautiful setting over looking the lake. They have their own farm on sight and we were able to visit the animals--including baby pigs and horse. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful property, the shared outdoor kitchen was so nice to use and then sit and enjoy the sounds of birds and the fresh air. I now wish I could have my own! The room was fine, had all the necessary essentials and the AC worked great. The space indoor and outdoor felt safe and secure and the other guests were respectful and polite.
