"I went as a solo traveller from Canada travelling internationally alone for the first time. Super nervous it would be weird for me to be at this resort alone but the staff were friendly, the visitors were friendly and the parties at Santa Fe were wild. I had an amazing time and I would recommend Riu Baja California to anyone but particularly solo travellers. Also the food and drinks were basic but very good."

"Overall a good stay. The hotel itself, pool, room itself, views and hotel location and access to the beach are top notch. The pool had a small kids section which our toddler enjoyed. The downsides: food was good but not great, drinks were just ok, but my wife and I were shocked as to how extremely overpriced everything was. $10 CAD for a cappuccino, $30+ CAD for a pizza, $20 CAD for a simple margarita."

"Nice hotel front in the beach amazing view. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning the restaurant with view to beach. The beach is calm and clear to swim and walk. They take your lunch and appetizer in the beach. Really close to downtown. The staff very kind."

"This resort was fairly good. There were pros and cons. The price for the food quality and location was good. We had a one bedroom suite and it was a good size. We liked the kitchen in the room. Pros for the resort were; food quality. Even in the buffet, the food quality was good! Premises was well landscaped and maintained. Rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the convenience and fun of the shows in the dinner area. The main Con for us was that it seemed understaffed, especially the food/drinks staff. We often had to wait a long time for drinks or to order. Breakfast buffet had a wait daily. This is ok once or twice but when it keeps happening; it’s frustrating. I also think the main all ages pool is too small for the size of the resort. This means it’s pretty crowded all day and I felt it looked “cloudy” by the afternoon. The adult pool is less crowded."

ME Cabo by Meliá – Adults Only

"We stayed at ME Cabo in Cabo San Lucas and really liked the location. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the marina, where you'll find many restaurants, bars, and shops. One thing to know is that ME Cabo is not an all-inclusive resort. The restaurants on the property are operated independently, so you pay separately for all meals and drinks. If you enjoy exploring different restaurants in town, this can actually be a great advantage. Unfortunately, during our stay the weather was extremely hot. Even though the marina was only a short walk away, the heat made it very uncomfortable to walk there, so we didn't get to enjoy that convenience as much as we had hoped. Because of the intense heat, we asked the staff if it would be possible to transfer to Paradisus Los Cabos, another Meliá resort that is all-inclusive. The team was incredibly helpful, especially José Luis, who went above and beyond to make the transfer happen. The only additional expense was a $20 Uber ride to the other resort. For us, Paradisus Los Cabos ended up being a much better fit. The all-inclusive experience was very convenient, with more than five restaurants to choose from. The food was good overall, and we especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. The staff throughout the resort were warm, attentive, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation. My only recommendation is to consider the time of year when planning your trip. We visited in late June."
