Overall food was mostly good, some of it was just okay. The drinks were also okay. For the price though we can't complain. The rooms and hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The swimming pools were nice and clean. The snorkeling on the reef was amazing, highlight of the holiday. For the price that is on offer, the value for money is great. We would definitely not hesitate to visit again.

I went back to the Jaz Lamaya having been 4 times before the covid outbreak, and was pleasantly surprised to see the standards of service and quality of the properties & ameneties were still of a high standard and all the staff very friendly. They also catered for my Gluten Free requirements.

Jaz Lamya is a very nice hotel. The family room with a separate kids room was amazing, traveling with a two year old baby. Staff were beyond excellent and super friendly. Food was also so yummy especially the grill. Corals are beautiful and you can view them from the pier or you can snorkel close to the shore and see the beautiful corals and fish. On the downside, Lamaya is not that near to the sand beach. It’s a 10 min walk. Children are not allowed on the larger Coraya city sand beach so we were stuck in a small area of the beach. We had to walk back to Lamaya every time we needed to use the toilets or get some food or drinks because we were not allowed to use the closer facilities belonging to the other resorts. The Jaz Samaya pool was nice but unusable when there is strong wind as it gets very cold. Jaz Lamaya pool is not well heated and swimming there was not enjoyable. The Jaz kids club was nice, they cook and have nice activities every day but the staff there doesn’t speak Arabic and only very broken English (their Dutch is fine). We stayed 12 days and we were rudely told that we are not welcomed in the aqua park the second time we went there even though we were never told that we are only allowed to go there once in our stay. Which doesn’t make much sense for people staying for longer durations. Overall, I can’t recommend jaz Lamaya. The food was great, the corals and fish were astonishing but the overall experience wasn’t the best.

La chambre était très spacieuse et très calme.Tout le personnel est très sympathique et au service de leurs clients. L'hôtel est très bien situé et nous avons pu pratiquer la plongée sous marine vu que le centre de plongée est à proximité.

Alles für uns perfekt. Leider ist das Riff seit letztem Jahr sehr in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Stichwort Korallenbleiche. Zudem: Je nach Aufpasser am Steg werden Riffzerstörer mehr oder weniger zurückgepfiffen.:-(

An sich einer der besten Hotels in meinen letzten 15 Reisen. Auswahl zum Frühstück/Abendbrot ausreichend. Mittags gibt es noch das Morgana bzw. Strandbars. Essen im Morgana sehr sehr gut. Personal überwiegend nett, an der Poolbar aber noch ausbaufähig. Hotel ist schon etwas älter und an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas runter gekommen, gestört hat mich das nicht.

tranquillité mais tarif exhorbitant

Notre séjour a été gâché par le fait que l'hôtel était situé loin des autres villes et qu'ils ont profité pour appliquer des tarifs exorbitants pour les boutiques services et taxis. La nourriture est cette varié, mais a rendu malade plusieurs personne de l'hôtel. Sinon, la propreté est la, et l'hôtel est familial.

Leider sehr voll in diesem Jahr, Restaurant im Lamaya war geschlossen. In der ersten Woche war es schwierig einen Platz zu bekommen. Insgesamt hat es uns zum ersten Mal nicht so gut gefallen wie sonst.
