One of the highlights of our trip

When we arrived at 1:30 pm, before the posted check-in time, we were welcomed to our room and along with a meal cooked just for the two of us. The grounds have an amazing variety of flora and fauna; coupled with a staff which treats everyone as family. Speaking of families, it is one of the best places I've been to bring your children along. They are free to enjoy the amenities without worrying about traffic, etc. This was evidenced by how many families that checked in as repeat clients; some for years.

Lovely property, amazing gardens, birds with well appointed and thoughtful layout. Carlos, the evening/ night receptionist welcomed us and saved the day the next day when housekeeping "forgot" to make up our room.

El paraíso en el Valle

Excelente hotel, hermosos paisajes, habitaciones amplias y camas cómodas. El baño suuuper amplio, buen desayuno con frutas y jugos naturales cosechados de la misma propiedad. Piscina grande y siempre limpia. Personal muy amable, te ofrecen tours guiados por el lugar, lo único es que no hay muy buena señal, pero es fantástico si te quieres desconectar y gozar de la naturaleza. Muy recomendado.

Beautiful grounds, spacious and comfortable. We were locals and knew the area however others may have needed assistance with any activities like hiking, bird watching, nothing was volunteered. We did not know that the restraunt was only open on request for dinner

Sehr schön gelegen

Sehr schön in einem botanischem Garten gelegen. Da das Hotel die Anwendung von Chemie ablehnt, haben wir es lieber gelassen im "grünen" Pool zu baden. Zimmerausstattung normal für diese Kategorie. WLAN nur im öffentlichem Bereich. Möbel im öffentlichen Bereich schon etwas mitgenommen. Kein zusätzlicher Service/Barbetrieb/Restaurant außer Frühstück. Preis/Leistung eher fraglich. Gebuchtes Zimmer war defekt, es gab trotz nur noch einer weiteren Buchung im Objekt ein etwas kleineres Zimmer :-(

Crater Valley es un lugar especial y mágico

Crater Valley es un lugar especial y mágico. El hotel tiene amenidades que están muy por encima de lo que otros hoteles boutique tienen en el area. El jardín es precioso, el invernadero excelente para mostrar a los niños, tienen una agencia de turismo con actividades para aprovechar el valle de Anton y las habitaciones son excelentes. ¡Me encantó! Y si dejaría recomendaciones para mejorar la experiencia que son: 1. El servicio tiene que mejorar. Cosas como disponibilidad de personas en la alberca para atender, que si llego antes del check-in me puedan alojar o al menos decirme que están preparando mi habitación. 2. El desayuno, si solo hay un menu disponible, hacerlo saber antes. Nuestros hijos a veces no pueden comer lo que se ofrece y esto no permite que se aproveche el mismo. Pero debo decir que acomodaron todo para que pudiera hacerlo 3. El restaurante, si tengo que pre ordenar para que se cocine algo con más de 4 horas de anticipación entonces no es tanto un restaurante. Pero al menos tienen esta opción. La opción de descorche de 20% tampoco me encantó. En general muy satisfecho con Crater Valley y de mis ya dos estadías, sigo viendolo como una maravillosa opción

Estadía en el Valle de Antón

La experiencia fue muy buena para toda la familia. El lugar excelente y tranquilo. Mucha naturaleza. El único aspecto a mejorar el proceso de reserva a través de la página ya que nos solicitó reconfirmar la misma cuando ya estaba hecha, faltando solo dos días para la estadía. Por lo demás, el personal fue muy atento y diligente. Las instalaciones limpias y bien atendidas. Lo recomendamos.

So so

The grounds were very pretty. We did have a problem with our toilet every day though. The hose would come out of the tank and pour water over the floor every day. They cleaned it up the first time. The hotel wasn’t full so I asked to move rooms. They said no. I’m not sure if it was a language barrier or not and they didn’t understand. I cleaned up the water every day after the first. We also ran out of hot water every day as well. Although I don’t mind dealing with certain problems, these should not happen for the amount of money that the hotel charges.

Beautiful boutique hotel set in a tropical garden

The hotel is beautiful situated in a tropical garden setting with the valley. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi was very weak but the natural beauty around the hotel was well worth the stay there. The staff was also very helpful and pleasant.

Viel zu teuer fuer viel zu wenig!

Wir waren eine Woche vor der Haupsaison dort und wurden maßlos enttäuscht! Fuer ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse (wir haben immerhin 250$ pro Nach bezahlt!) ist das Angebot und das Verhalten des Hotelteams inakzeptabel! Zuerst war man vollkommen überrascht über uns, da man unsere Buchung verschlampt hat. unser Zimmer hatte dann zufällig einen Schaden und wir mussten in ein kleineres Zimmer (ohne großes Bett). Das Hotelteam war quasi abwesend, die Hotelmanagerin sah man nur morgens zu ihrem Jogging verschwinden. Zum Frühstück gab es keine Karte oder Buffet sondern einfach nur Rührei mit speck und Panakotes. Die Dusche funktioniere nicht, das WLAN ebenso. Sauna hätte nochmal 30$ fuer 15 Minuten gekostet. Pool und Jakuzzi waren von irgendwelchen Baumaterialen versifft. Ich habe in diesem Hotel zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben meinen Aufenthalt abgebrochen und bin wütend einen Tag früher abgereist. Die Anlage des Hotels ist übrigens sehr schön, aber das reißt es nun wirklich nicht mehr raus.

Not what I expected

Everything looks nicer on the website than it really is, they offer services they can't give, like activities that require a minimum of people so if you're a family of four (like us) you can't do them, like Zip-lining, rappelling, etc. The staff is not rude but they only do the minimum needed to comply. The food is not at all what they announced, and there's not variety. I think the hotel is too expensive for what you really get. On the other hand, El Valle is a beautiful place, beautiful nature and many things to do....by yourselves.

Hotel bueno pero muy elevado para lo que brindan.

En la habitación del hotel donde me hospedaba el aire acondicionado no se sentía estaba averiado no enfriaba. Creo que los servicios que brinda el hotel, ejemplo masajes eso es sub-contratado no hay una persona de planta para los servicios que brinda. Y en relación al precio esta muy elevado para lo que brinda x una noche.

Nice boutique hotel a little removed from center

Beautiful grounds and pool. Manager was very helpful in driving us to local attractions for an added fee. Nice wood burning fireplace in the common area near lobby with mixed cocktails available. Private terrace with seating and hammock outside each room. Breakfast was basic- fruit, bread, tea/ coffee and small selection of cereals and eggs made to order. Overall lovely location.

DESORDEN:no encontraron nuestra reserva

PESIMA EXPERIENCIA Hicimos la reserva via hotels.com de Crater Valley para 1 noche. Llegando al hotel,la encargada Reysha nos dijo de que no habia ninguna reserva y de que el hotel estaba lleno,asi que no podrian hacer nada por nosotros. Una tremenda decepcion.Dias antes habiamos recibido la confirmacion por email... Un desorden total... Nos toco devolvernos a casa despues de varias horas de viaje y con ninos en el carro.

perfect place for couples.

This place is a jewel. The photos do not look half as good as the place actually is. The staff is super friendly and always there to help. this hotel has only 9 rooms so it will never be packed. The temperature controlled jacuzzi is open all night.
