"I understand that there is a section of the hotel that allows pets. We stayed in that section because they were completely full. We were lucky to get the last room. The hotel was fine but the section we were in smelled like wet dog and the deodorizer was so strong it burned your eyes. Breakfast was good and the staff was efficient. Not a bad hotel, just not a good room for someone with allergies. "

"Mainstay Suites has been a perfect option for my daughter as she competes for Miss Virginia. It is quiet, but only 8 minutes away from the competition at Hotel Roanoke or the Berglund Center. Also…there is plenty of room for all the clothes she needs to bring for pageant week! The staff was excellent, responsive, and accommodating! "

"It seemed there was a big push to have lodgers subscribe to the Hilton points plan. It took us nearly 20 minutes to access the Wifi because we did not want to subscribe to the Hilton Club. When we made the reservation, it indicated wifi was available which was important to us. Once we jumped through the hoops, called the front desk, etc. we finally accessed the wifi. "

"This clean and safe hotel has many dining options within walking distance. Parking is plentiful. We love the 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby and the pool. Breakfast is wonderful. Staff is always welcoming snd helpful. The property is located close to the highway ( but not right next to it) and there is a mall close by. "
