"Great Staff, very nice"

"An excellent base to see Ottawa. Very close to all the main sites, all easily walkable. The accommodation was clean and very well maintained with helpful staff at reception to answer any questions we had. Didn’t make use of the gym or games room but both looked good. Would highly recommend restays and we would definitely use again."

"The outside of the hotel was the disappointing part of our stay as there were several unhoused people laying in front of the entrance and visibly using substances with tournaquets and needles. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds. The coffee maker did not work and there were limited soaps, lotions etc in the bathroom. I expected a bit more for the price we paid."

"This is home built in 1886. If you like that idea, you will love it. Old stairs, old rooms well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and loved our room. Breakfast was delicious."

"The staffer actually pretty good very kind. It is difficult to reach all places if you need assistance as I do. The hotel is a little bit in need of renovation and they say they're going to be doing it soon."

"The restaurant was great, very quick service. The location was superb. The beds were way too soft and the sheets were washed in heavy duty starch.i do have very sensitive skin and felt like I was sleeping on sand paper. The staff were very helpful trying to show us how to work the air conditioner. The lemon water at the entrance was a lovely touch! Unfortunately I will not be able to stay there again because of the soft beds and the starch in the sheets"

"Our stay was disappointing and fell well below our expectations. At approximately 8:30 a.m., we requested two bathrobes; however, only one was delivered, and it did not arrive until approximately 10:00 a.m. We also experienced ongoing difficulties with the hot water in our room. The water temperature was extremely difficult to regulate, requiring constant adjustments between the hot and cold settings. In addition, we utilized the valet parking service but were not advised that vehicle retrieval...

"Cartier Place is in a great location. Felt like we had our own little apartment downtown. Also enjoyed sitting outside having a drink on the patio."
