The facility was in the middle of changing to a new brand, Spark. The changes caused considerable inconvenience, from room keys that did not work for the outside access doors to the swimming pool, which, for the fourth consecutive time, was unavailable. We were informed that, shortly after the change of branding, their hot breakfast would be replaced with a continental breakfast. The hot breakfast was one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the Hampton. We will not do so in the future

This is NOT the Hampton Inn. It is now called Spark. I stayed here for 6 days 5 nights for the Run 4 Roses tournament… it was the cheapest in the area. The staff at this hotel smiled and were very friendly however they were the laziest I’ve ever encountered. 1st off we asked for the rooms to be cleaned and they came in and only changed the trash and left a note that said “sorry I couldn’t clean the bed because you have personal items on the bed”. I literally left a Bible on the bed. They took towels and didn’t replace them or replace toilet tissue. 2nd most of the guests put their trash in the hallways to be picked up and the trash stayed there for many hours making the hallways appears to be dirty. Bed linens were also left many hours in the hallways before housekeeping to gather. 3rd they have bed bugs in one of our beds. 4th among checking out, I left an item and the front desk could care less about me getting it back. They said “call back tomorrow and check with house keeping”. Most hotels workers would’ve checked or even called you back to inform you that items were left! This hotel puts alot of responsibility on the house keeping and house keeping could literally care less. Most of the employees sit outside the hotel and smoke cigarettes. I had to check out and get another hotel.

Never could get a remote to qork on the TV. Front desk gave us a second controller, it onky worked somwtimes. Elevator is sketchy..screeches when in use. Rooms nice, halls, stairs, elevator are all HOT and STINK. Carpet in elevator looked like it needed replaced 25 years ago! Advertised with a pool...nope, its shut down! Only reason we picked this hotel and its shut down. Oh and we picked a Hampton, but this is now a "Spark". Was like booking a Hilton and getting a Motel 6.

Purposes booked at a HAMPTON INN When arrived it was a SPARK with small notation of “by Hampton Inn” in the bottom corner of the sign. Pool was closed. Breakfast waffle maker out of service. Elevator made loud grinding noises when in use. It amounted to a run down version of a Hampton Inn. Not impressed.

This property was being converted into a Hilton "Spark" property. Overall maintenance was lacking. The parking lot had potholes/gravel. The elevators and hallways filthy. The room was clean and acceptable. The breakfast(which will be discontinued under Spark) was ok as was the staff. July 1 it will be a Spark. If we had known we would have booked another property. I can't believe Hilton is putting their name on such a place. It would have been nice if Expedia knew about the change and advised us in advance.

The hotel has taken a fall since changing from Hampton Inn to Spark by Hilton. The construction has been shoddy and has lasted far longer than it should’ve. The construction mess is due to carelessness, not professional work. The rooms are less accommodating with no drawers and no hair dryers, and the bed sheets that don’t fit and pop off of the bed all night. There were so many issues with the first room we were in that we had to move. And the room keys continually stopped working. The bright side was that the staff was accommodating and friendly even though we had to ask so much of them with all that went wrong.

We checked in at 4:00. I opened the curtains to see what the view was. There was a vehicle parked sideways 4 feet from the window up on jack stands with the wheels off. There was 5 guys out there drinking and playing loud music. I ask the person at the front desk to tell yhem to leave and I wss told to swutch rooms.

Our stay started very rocky as our reservation that was made on Expedia was not showing in the hotels system. But miss Annette at the front desk was phenomenal! She helped us by getting a number to call Expedia and was very understanding of our frustration but went the extra mile to make everything right. She stayed on the line with the gentleman from Expedia and we got all situated. She is an angel and a great asset to the Hampton!!

They said they were renovating, but it was smelly and dirty throughout. There was no hair dryer or microwave in the room and there was a group of workers sitting outside near our window talking loudly that night. We usually have an amazing experience at Hampton Inns, but our experience this time was terrible!!

The property was under renovation and things were in disarray, dusty and smelling of chemicals. Our room was in the front of the hotel, and the elevator was far away in the back. The room was clean enough but not of the quality we expect from a Hampton. We're elderly and don't do stairs well. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The hotel was currently under construction when we checked into our room we had no water pressure. The remote for the television did not work and we only had one towel for the both of us.

Needs work.

We didn't realize the property was doing renovations. We had to walk outside to get to the office or breakfast room. One bad thing, was the pool was filthy and definately needed work.

The property was under extensive construction, that’s why the 4 for cleanliness and condition. We didn’t know about the construction when we booked, but we did find out before we stayed. It would’ve been awful if we didn’t know ahead of time and arrived to such a mess. All else was great. We would stay there again. I believe it’s going to be wonderful once the construction is finished.

The place is under construction. People started working at 7 in the morning. There was dust everywhere. Plaster on the rugs everywhere. No hot water one day and no water the next day. The shower floor was slick and I had to put a towel down to keep from falling. I payed right at 600 dollars for this nightmare. Not sure I will use your service again.
