"I had a very disappointing and unprofessional check-in experience. We drove 11 and a half hours from Houston. When I arrived, the front desk was unattended. I politely said “hello” multiple times over the course of about two minutes and received no acknowledgment.
When the front desk associate, Tia, eventually came out, she immediately greeted me with an attitude and incorrectly assumed I was DoorDash. After I explained I was checking in, I mentioned that I had been trying to get someone’s attention. Her response was dismissive—stating she hears people say “hello” all day—despite the fact that she never acknowledged me or indicated she would be with me shortly.
Throughout the check-in process, her tone remained unfriendly and unhelpful, even when I asked basic questions about the property. What made this more frustrating was witnessing her immediately switch to a polite and welcoming tone when interacting with a DoorDash delivery driver shortly after.
This inconsistency in customer service I was unwelcoming which makes me reluctant to book again when we return to Huntsville again or recommend the property to family and friends. As a paying guest, I expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism not treated as a bother."
