"The hotel is dated and shabby. Having been to the property several times since it opened (40 some years ago) I can attest that the property has not been updated since then. Furniture in the rooms had wear holes on the arms with stuffing showing through. Bathroom sinks were cracked. Bath tubs needed resurfacing. Wooden furniture was chipped and cracked. Tile floors in the lobby had cracks and holes as if struck by a hammer. The carpets in the room were vacuumed a total of 1 time in an 8 day stay....

Upfront 'deposit' for Tourist Tax poorly explained - opportunity to reclaim not adequately described. Great Cafe next door (White Noise Coffee) where we had breakfast every morning."
