"This is an affordable hotel for a family short stay, clean, appears to be recently refurbished, located in a muslim neighbourhood near a mosque not far from the city centre. Friendly staff. It doesn't have a parking place but they gave us a spot to leave our car overnight. It is good in general if you are looking for a cheap family room for a night or two."

"The location is convenient, close to the city centre. Easy walk to main tourist attractions
The staff are very helpful, and was the main highlight for this visit. If it weren’t for the staff, im not sure i would have enjoyed it as much.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. For the price I paid it was a great deal. They could use a few renovations.
The takeaway breakfast was handy. "

"There aren’t many shops nearby, mostly regional or country-specific stores. It’s hard to find what I want. The highlight is the convenience location for a short drive or public transportation away from town, but two things are inconvenient: the hot water for showers only lasts a short time, and the breakfast options are very limited for the price I paid."

"Comfy room, generous towels.
Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service.
There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. A real asset to the Old...

"The experience was unique, stopping in Lumley Castle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This was a bed for the night while visiting Beamish, 11 minutes away. Beautiful setting and grounds.
We didn’t have breakfast or evening meal but would definitely go again for the full experience.

"The property was okay. Walls are thin, I could hear the snoring from the room next door. My main issue was the price, we were charged £220 for night in a double room. I have no idea why it was so much because the usual rate for the room is much lower."
