"Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. "It was fine throughout"

"Good size room, clean and comfortable. Really helpful staff."

"Bathroom smelled really really bad, like there were drainage problems and the fire alarm triggered in my room at 5:40 for no reason waking everyone in the block - pub is fantastic though!"

"Lovely room with view of the lake, iron & ironing board, coffee machine and kettle were much appreciated. Didn’t have breakfast but it was reasonably priced. Free parking and plenty of space, felt safe."

"Great stay in a great location."

"It’s a very lovely place to stay, but I suggest they put bath mat in the bathroom before someone slide and fall, writing it in the bathroom to request for it not good enough, not everyone will see it,it’s not too safe to use it without mat"

"Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property"

"clean, comfortable room, comfortable bed, helpful, friendly staff, good breakfast"
