"Stayed 3 nights & had a wonderful time at this beautiful located hotel. The staff are amazing, helpful & very professional.Food wonderful & breakfast fantastic.Highly recommend Gara Rock, location perfect & panoramic views & lovely walk to catch the ferry to Salcombe.Will definitely return for future stays in the area."

"No parking at the hotel , but if you time it right there are spaces on the road, near hotel,otherwise there's carpark not to far away. Staff was great the lovely lady on reception was polite and helpful her initials are AW ."

"A comfortable stay, aided by use of a fan in the room which was needed because no air con in room and windows have security latches so only opens minimally. Nice welcome and every staff member we spoke to was courteous and friendly. Benefit of parking in the car park for just £6 a day was definitely an added bonus. Minimal cleanliness issues, scuffed paintwork and slightly dated furniture. One thing that is definitely needed is clean windows..we had a seaview room which was great but the windows were so dirty, inside and out so the view was pointless tbh. So overall would stay again if in the area"

"Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there. Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel. Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed."
