"Great customer service - They did charge a 35.00 early check in fee, more of an FYI. Rooms were available. It's a neat old hotel with a lot of history. Beautiful original ceilings in the entry main hotel, simple but good food menu, great cocktails. Had the margarita pizza with some pepperoni - it was great. It wasn't a flatbread, more of a fresh dough. The wings were good too. They physical building - good shape, but the exterior windows could be washed. The location was convenient and an 8-minute walk to the convention center. I felt safe all in all. Streets are well lit. The federal building is across the street. All in all, I'd give a 3.5 ***"

"The property itself was amazing. It was clean inside. It is downtown so outside they can’t control with people and you do see a few mice but that’s outside. As far as inside it is clean. I really enjoyed my stay and I will stay there again."

"When we checked in we were given a room that reeked of marijuana. I realize that is Baltimore, however, for those of us that do not care for the smell, it was quite appalling. However the staff was quick to give us another room without question. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The valet on the other hand was the worst, there was only one attendant and the hotel got very busy and it would take an average of 20-30 minutes to get your car. So, I would recommend staying here, but, do not opt for the valet service, there is a parking garage right around the corner."

"The rooms are outdated. The bathroom toilet was like being in a public bathroom. No space to store your toiletries. The bathtub was broken had to call. We asked for late checkout and everyone person you spoke to had a different answer. Some said $25 an extra hour when other people got check out till 2 for free. No consistency and some front desk people were just rude."

"We booked this hotel last minute due to the area our previously booked hotel was in. When we got there, the lady at the desk was very sweet and very helpful. Parking was easy. The continental breakfast was decent. A staff member overheard my disappointment that there was no shampoo in our room, and immediately went and got some and brought it right up to us. I can't tell you how many times our keys stopped working in less than 24 hours. This was incredibly frustrating as the hotel was very busy and the line to get it fixed was long. There was only one staff member at the front desk at any given time. When looking for an ice machine, we discovered an area that had obviously had old water damage and there was a TON of black mold on the ceiling. When my son went to go to bed that night he realized there was a stain on the sheet when he pulled the blanket down. Because we didn't want to deal with the busy desk again, he just slept on top of the blanket. All of this, and then to see we were charged $40 after we checked out, for what I don't know because the hotel has yet to get back to me. For $250 a night, I would have expected better. "

"A person was actually hiding out in our assigned room (we booked for 2 nights) when we arrived at 10 PM. She claimed she had been left there. There was a confrontation when they were removed from the room. It was late, so we stayed in the new room they moved us to. There were stains on sheets and towels. Then, the electrics shorted out on one side of room when we plugged in a phone charger. My partner was propositioned in the hallway by a woman. Next morning, woken at 6am with extremely loud dance music. Knocks on the door did nothing, had to bang on wall from inside our room. When we went down in the morning, the person who was in our room the night before was huddled in the lobby watching tv. We checked out after that and booked another hotel for our second night. Was told by staff a partial refund would only happen if Hotel.com approved it. "
