Extreme heat caused a lot of things to shut down. What didn’t work out so well was on arrival when we checked in our room must have had some work being done on it. "We've stayed at Ulysses several times over the years. For the first time we experienced a room without central AC. Our room had a small window unit that was not nearly adequate to keep the room cool during the 100º weather. Sleep was difficult. In the future, in the heat of the summer, I may plan to stay elsewhere."

"Well maintained property. Staff was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and decent. The downside was the refrigerator wasn’t working properly, our room was not vacuumed during our 5 day stay and weren’t made aware the option to have a microwave for the stay for an additional $10."

"We came into town overnight to go to a ballgame. The property was clean and inviting. The front desk staff were awesome and helpful at check in. The room was very clean and plenty of room for my son and I. The bedding and sheets were very comfortable. Only minor thing that could be improved is the water pressure in the shower. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The surrounding area around the hotel felt safe though I didn’t walk around in the neighborhood….. I really felt like the hotel...

"The hotel was recently renovated and all facilities are lovely. Expect the exterior to be the same and enjoy its perfect location near the harbor. In general the staff was attentive and welcoming. It is a very busy week, so we must be patient with those that were not. A special complement to housekeeping. Wash cloths like rosettes and tissues like fans!"
