"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"This hotel was beautiful, clean, and very quaint. The property was gorgeous overlooking Duoro valley with an amazing infinity pool. However, there were no food options or winery tours available when we were there? Not sure if this is normally how it is, but we always had to drive somewhere else to do anything. If you’re looking for a hotel that you can remain on the property then I don’t recommend this one, but if you’re looking for a quiet hotel and are okay with driving for tours/food then...

"Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Eine sehr gemütliche fast private Unterkunft. Frühstück ist ein Traum mit Obt und Orangensaft direkt vom Hotel eigenen Obstgarten. Die Weinprobe war sehr interessant. Der Höhepunkt war das Abendessen, das ist nicht zu beschreiben, das muss man einfach erleben. Ein Pool mitten in den Weinbergen ist eine willkommene Abkühlung an einem heißen Tag. Ein Auto zu mieten ist sehr zu empfehlen um die schöne Gegend kennenzulernen. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. We were lucky to eventually drive out of the scary dangerous roads. A refund request was denied by the hotel. While I understand the policy, I don’t understand why the hotel never...
