"Amazing location, great view of the ocean and the surfers below."

"The property is great with a huge variety of activities such as pools gym playroom and restaurant. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety and fresh food. The apartment was bigger and better than expected/photos."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi and decent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to replace faulty TV in my room on the same day. Room size is on the smaller side though and could do with a wardrobe for hanging clothes. I wasn't too fussed about it and would happily stay here again for the overall experience and fab location. Also, free tea, coffee and cakes all day is a thoughtful touch :)"

"Nice location, basic but nice breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. Not quite 4* hotel. But for Ericeira this is cute."

"We were blown away by this property on arrival. It exceeded our expectations. Fabulous original decoration, very clean and everything you could need. Staff were all friendly and the breakfasts were excellent (we especially appreciated the pack up breakfast in our last day). Our large balcony was very appreciated and the central location was ideal. Some areas need some care especially the rooftop - it would have been lovely to sit up there for the views but it wasn’t very appealing or clean....

"Hotel turned us away and said the hotel was over booked. I would not recommend this hotel"

"Nice guest house at a reasonable price."

"Positives: - Apartment is very clean with all the cooking utensils you need - Great location, right off the square with all the local restaurants and shops - Close walking distance to the beach (5-10mins) - Hosts very responsive with any question/requests we had Negatives: - Apartment right opposite a “social club” which is opened until 2am so it does get quite loud at night - bring earplugs! - The rooftop terrace was a shared common space with another apartment. The description on Expedia was...

"A clean and convenient hotel. Don't go in expecting a luxury hotel; it was affordable, spotless, and sweet. The lounge/restaurant was great, and breakfast was exceptionally nice. Freshly cooked eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, etc. What I really appreciated was the staff's service and kindness. Crisp white sheets, a wrapped duvet, fluffy towels, and even a laundry bag... turned this good experience into a great one."

"Friendly environment with lots of laughter, nice bed easy to meet people but had some difficulty with the smoking."

"Very clean and nice staff"

"We loved our stay at Mar Puro! They've done an incredible job designing the property and the units to make it comfortable and stylish. They're team is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone travelling with a child, 3 other couples that were there at the same time had kids as well."

"Essen landestypisch ausreichend und schmackhaft. Personal im Restaurant sehr aufmerksam und engagiert. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist durchwachsen bemüht. Es gibt keinerlei Transportmöglichkeit ohne Mietwagen als ein Taxi in Anspruch zu nehmen und da variieren die Preise extrem! Leider ist das Hotel sehr abgelegen, Sintra als nächste Stadt ca. 15 km entfernt! Schade! Die großzügigen Außenpools sind leider nicht beheizt! Fussläufig weder andere Restaurants noch Geschäfte erreichbar."

"The staff was very accommodating and reminded us of old bed and breakfast places from years ago. They even had our breakfast ready early so we could get away early. If we come to Portugal again, we’d come back. Also, great restaurant recommendations."
