"Loved the style of the hotel. Stunning decor and very comfortable beds. Staff were also delightful and well informed. The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi.
Food and drink very good and the dining room is beautiful.
We had a spa suite which was very spacious and comfortable BUT be warned - it is a very long walk from these to the main hotel. I counted walking through 8 fire doors before...

"When we booked and received confirmation of booking instructions said they would send us code for building 48 hours before arrival. We never got any information had to contact them on day of check in.
Reason I would not recommend: We were staying in room 107. The kitchen floor had splashes of clear liquid and brown liquid (coffee?) The sofa was visibly stained in many spots and so uncomfortable (felt like springs were poking thru). Only way you could sit on sofa was to use a throw pillow as...

"Very conveniently located to Loch Lomond & the highlands. The staff (Alistair, Faith, & George, to name a few) were professional, friendly, and accommodating. The dining room was bright & neat & clean. The food was very nice and there was a wide variety to choose from for dinner.
This is an older hotel, but everything worked. The soundproofing was excellent! Could not hear the motorway or people in adjacent rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel was full."
