First of all the staff was awesome, very accommodating. Hotel was a bit aged and pool had not been reopened from Helene but visit was in November, and who uses a pool in Tennessee in November? Breakfast was fresh and tasty, had enough for me, and I LIKE breakfast. I will be going back!

Nice place to stop and rest on a long journey.

It was perfectly situated for my needs. Although it could have been amazing if there were a few more features. Such as a few chairs outside to sit in while enjoying the great views.

The pool and hot tub are closed! It said nothing about that online or in the emails. I get there was a flood but why not tell guests what to expect. We brought pool toys and planned our stay around the fact that you had a hot tub plus the pool. The reason we decided on this hotel entirely was closed with no knowledge to us, the guest. No money was offered back. The halls stink and the lady at the desk told me how lucky they are to even be open. So we as the guest were just the unlucky ones. I get it, and my heart goes out but a quick email to say the pool and hot tub were not open and could not even go outside to that area would have solved the problem.

The property does not presently live up to the posted pictures. The price paid was pretentiously exorbitant for the experience. As it turned out, the pool was drained, the fitness center was in shambles, and when you follow the signs to "vending," on the first and third floors only, you can get ice, but no snacks or drinks. One would imagine that last item not to be a problem, except that when arriving late, the shell station next door was not open, so forget having any type of a bottle of hydration. These rooms should be priced around $65/night while the ammenities are not functioning, rather than the ridiculous amount I paid. We decided to depart early.

The room a/c didn't work. Finally after sweating for hours, I asked about a fan and got moved to the highest floor where once again the air wasnt working. It wad absolutely miserable. The night staff was awful and had to wait until they finished their cigarettes before they would tend to the desk. 10/10 don't recommend.

Liked the fact staff changed our room from a bed that had dirty sheets however beds have springs that poke into your back Outdated rooms ,no air conditiining in halls /common areas,no hot breakfast,what was offered was not edible/smashed bread ,plain cereal flakes old milk.No soap in public restrooms.No hot water in our private bathroom sink ,smelled mildewy in hotel ,paint chipping from ceilings No microwave to cook own food so must travel to eat.No pool/jacuzzi or workout room as stated on hotel site.The area was hit hard from the hurricane last year but this hotel structure withstood it well !! Needs new beds and Update All amenities/rooms/ac. NOT worth the price and risky to people with asthma which my husband has.

Mountain Inn & Suites is a nice little hotel in Erwin TN. The same Erwin TN that just got wiped out from hurricane Helene flooding. Hotels.com refuse to give me a refund even though they have received photos of the entire hotel in shambles with nothing but piles of debris all around it. They are not and were not open. I could not call the hotel and reschedule. But Hotels.com says they cannot refund me even though the hotel was closed and halfway underwater. Hotels.com is a complete scam. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel should they reopen. But definitely do not book through Hotels.com
