"The floors were clean, the sheets and counters were dirty. Bought clorox wipes to clean the bathroom because it wasn’t cleaned well. Used soup, the body was empty, and the faucets were dirty. Other than that it was an okay experience"

"Love the kitchen and private balcony. The bar and restaurant are great but there was a private event happening on my last night so I couldn't use the free drink tickets I got when I checked in. Going forward maybe a heads up or something if one or both of those will be closed during your stay would be good, that way we don't miss out on the opportunity to go there or use the amenities (ie free drink tickets)."

"The property is old. It’s not modern. However, it perfectly suits the island, the weather and the culture. The staff was outstanding in every way. "I love the room. It was spotless and well laid out. We had a lot of room. The balcony was wonderful. The view was wonderful. The keyless doors were great too. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The staff was very helpful and lovely. The little store on site had a lot of nice last minute things. Amenities, drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and toiletries. The drawbacks were pretty minor but here they are: the water pressure in the shower was very low, so don't use a whole lot of soap....

"I believe this property is 3 1/2 stars and I normally stay at 4 and 5 star resorts but this place is just quirky enough to make me curious. I'm glad I was because I was pleasantly surprised. "Hi We absolutely loved this hotel and the absolutely fantastic location on the boardwalk. We enjoyed the beach at its sister property, which is accessible by the water taxi in front of the hotel. Our only complaint was the noise from the street late at night in front of our rooms. Try to request a room not facing the street. Other than that, it was a great hotel with a very nice pool area. Staff is friendly and accommodating, too."

I was shocked by the fact that guests have to pay twenty dollars a day to use an umbrella on the beach, and you only get one free lounger, your travel partner will have to pony up 15 bucks. No coffee maker in any of the rooms. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was broken, and we only had WiFi in our room for about 5 minutes the entire time.
