"We enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and the sausages and bacon excellent. The views were amazing and the location was perfect. The complementary cheese and biscuits during happy hour was a really nice touch. Unfortunately the decorative condition of our room let the hotel down as did the condition of the shared areas, such a shame."

"We just stayed the one night passing through and this was a very nice hotel. We booked in for Sunday Lunch and this was on of the best I have ever had in my life. The staff were very nice and high class, as was the venue. We only stayed one night but would like to stay longer next time."

"The room we had was clean but very small and we had to climb up 2 flights of stairs because the room was right up the top off the inn staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast that we had was excellent and the roast dinner was superb cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly the bar area was oldie, worlde but needs some attention the ship inn is in a very good place for all amenities"

"The property was in a fairytale house in a magical location. All the little extra touches - such as bathrobes and slippers. daily complimentary water, chocolate etc - were truly the icing on the cake. The staff showed a real pride in working at the Castle and truly helped to set the atmosphere. Check-in and out were brilliant. The restaurant was superb with a jaw-dropping view of the Castle and sumptuous breakfast. If you think I seem enthusiastic it is because I am!"

"Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super! Durfte sogar im Apartment übernachten! Hat mir sehr, sehr gut gefallen und ich hab super dort geschlafen, nach einer Wanderung "South down way"! Herzlichen Dank noch mal an die lieben Vermieter! Schöne saubere Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen! Was auch ganz positiv geklappt hat war der Gepäcktransport mit Luggage Transfer der super gemanaged wurde von den Beiden! Über Wasser, Plätzchen, Kaffee und Tee der bereitstand hat mich auch sehr...

"There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. "Lindsay was a really nice host, we could have what we wanted for breakfast, there was tea,coffee sugar and milk in the room. Our room was very spacious and bathroom was very large and well layed out, our room looked out on to the garden which was nice."

"Where to start? Adri and The New England were amazing! Such a welcoming and gracious host - always remembering our names and so helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and we felt so at home. Adri even volunteered to do some laundry for us!! It was the best stay of our 3 week Ireland dnd UK vacation."
