"Booked at the last minute on a long drive between CA and WA. Very well maintained and nicely updated “vintage” style motor-inn. Very clean, beautiful hanging flower baskets, comfy and welcoming mid-century modern style office/lounge area. The beer and wine station upon arrival was very welcome. Delicious breakfast. "March 22-24, 2026 - we arrived at what we *thought* was this Even hotel, we have stayed in many times, and found it was being converted over to a Marriott Courtyard. Floors 2 and 4 were out of commission and only the 3rd floor was available. No excerise equipment in rooms, as expected in Even hotel room AND no weight room available because that was on the 2nd floor. The staff was very helpful, from housekeeping to front desk. But buyer beware, construction will continue for several months and...

"Staff was extremely rude about having a guest with me. She accused me of "violating their shower policy". I'm the only one that used it. Who has a "shower policy"? She kept walking up to me and saying I lied to her. She even walked to the end of the block to see where I was going. Didn't feel safe there, I left after to hours and found a different hotel. Do not stay here."

"My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the temperature was perfect. The staff was accommodating, I was able to check in early and check out 30 mins after check out time. Plus I received cookies just out of the oven. The breakfast choices were limited but very tasty. Thank you for taking good care of me during stay."
