"This is the second and the last time I stay at the Palmer. I like the proximity to certain landmarks and the beds were comfy but other than that, the bathroom wasn't clean, there was a lot of hair in the tub, the shower faucet handle was filled with black scum on the inside. There was also a piece undone metal on the bottom of the vanity that scraped my kid's foot. There was no complimentary coffee/tea which added to the disappointment. I was too tired to ask for a different room with 2 kids...

Our initial room had a door that did not appear to close properly, leaving a noticeable gap that allowed conversations and other sounds from inside the room to be heard from the hallway. "The hostess assisting us during check-in was quite rude and almost sarcastic when I inquired about the reservation details. She was not very helpful when I attempted to use my credit card; the card reader wasn't working, and she seemed hesitant to manually enter the numbers. Additionally, the beds were squeaky, and the sheets appeared worn and crumpled, suggesting they had been used frequently and were made of low-quality material."
