"Excellent team including Mandy on reception who explained we’d booked a room in The Grange (separate building), when we asked she offered an upgrade for a small extra fee, to the main house and showed us her favourite room (gorgeous view of park & ducks behind). Sanya in the restaurant was excellent- food was superb too. Advil at breakfast was great. Lovely comfortable room. Very happy. Thanks team! "

"This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff were the kindest, most conscientious, considerate, cheerful people we’ve ever seen in a hotel and they seemed to take great pride in their work. The room was nice and had a sofa that we could both sit on whereas most king rooms only have one chair at other hotels. "This hotel is on a great location, many shops and places to eat closeby and opposite the castle, our room looked into the castle. Decor is a bit dated now, room was spacious. "
