"Perfect for a single room, single night stopover. Great central location, lots of great bar, cafe and restaurant options - as well as being right across from the conventions venue. The room and bathroom were small but perfect for my needs. Immaculately clean, very quiet, with everything I needed. And the bed was blissfully comfortable! Friendly greeting by staff on arrival too. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to an Executive room for free! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Had no problems with noise at all. We went and had a meal one night at the Orchid restaurant below, amazing tasty food. Would recommend to others to stay here."

"The property was very clean and modern. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as limited spaces are available but the receptionist sorted us out. There was a slight problem with the water supply where the water system was going to be unavailable while it was being cleaned but they provided us with bottled water. We only stayed one night but overall it was a lovely experience "

"Traditional hotel. Rooms could do with updating but on the whole a nice hotel with lots of traditional features of a hotel with so much history. Conveniently situated in a quiet area but still only a 5 minute walk from all Harrogate has to offer. "

"The room wasn't quite how we expected based on the picture provided at point of booking, but was ok. The bed was on the former side but reasonably comfortable, as we're the pillows. The spa facilities were excellent and and well maintained. Breakfast was also excellent and staff were well presented (if a little inexperienced, save for the Maitre D). Staff providing room service was very polite & delivered our room service exactly on the time requested. Overall, quite possibly our favourite...
