"We where very happy with all facility. Overall the only problem we personally was the 3 steps going in and out of the property. The last step out is very steep and would have liked something to hold on too"

"Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything you needed. This hotel is room only. You have a key for the front door to come in and out and key for your room. There is a number to contact the owners but only saw them when checking in. Rooms provide tea/coffee and bottled water. It’s a no nonsense hotel which has everything you need in your room for your stay."

"Absolutely wonderful accomodation. Comfortable bed, clean amenities, exceptionally cosy. Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality."

"I did not like the fact that while I did not book with free breakfast, I was still charged for my coffees in the restaurant. You would think someone staying in one of the Penthouse suites would at least get free coffee in the restaurant."

"The Camberley is a hidden jewel in Harrogate I usually stay with a friend’s B&B but sadly it was booked for the week I wanted to be there. I took a chance on the Camberley and was very happily surprised. Kimberly was very lovely to deal with and she was very responsive throughout my day. The location is fantastic as it in near restaurants, pubs and transportation. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, check it out yourself."

"I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable."

"The room was spacious with a good amount of storage whilst the room did not have air conditioning it was cool and a comfortable temperature, which to say it was 30 degrees outside was good. There was a fan available, but we didn't need to use it. Room was clean and the bathroom was acceptably clean. There was however slight mould spots on some of the grouting and sealant in the shower. "Greeted by lovely staff. Room was very pokey with a flood in the bathroom. The receptionist, although came across as slightly reluctant to move us (due to the hotel being fully booked) did do his best to move us. Quite a bit of noise from 5am from local businesses emptying bottles etc into their bins. Breakfast very good and tasty but could have done with a better fruit selection. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Great bar area and food. Onsite parking could be cheaper as £15 per night...

But this stay was somehow worse. Their so‑called “comfort” rooms are actually the lowest budget rooms, ranked below standard, proving they don’t understand the meaning of comfort at all. "There are a few issues here. There are 2 classes of spa users. Those with robes, and those without. It’s not a good look to see the non-robe people clutching towels as they dodge the bird excrement on the outside patio, which could be dragged into the pool with one misstep. A daily jet wash is needed. The shower gel containers in the men’s area were all empty. You need earplugs if they put you in a room near the kitchen ventilator. You won’t sleep. The safe in the wardrobe doesn’t work....
