"Very disappointed with the volume of dogs in the property. No designated areas in restaurant and one particular dog was allowed to sit on the bench seating unchallenged by staff , very poor management intervention! All bedrooms apparently “dog friendly!” Was not a nice experience and will not be returning. Finally, where was the pool and spa facilities ? Certainly not in the hotel!"

"Really well placed for shops and pubs/restaurants etc., whilst still on a quiet enough residential street. After a very long journey in the heat really didn't want to get the car out again and was able to walk to the Tesco Express and back in less than ten minutes. Check-in and communication with host was great - we phoned twice and the call was answered immediately both times. We were put into a different house on arrival to what we'd expected but this was no problem and probably better than...

"The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The only slight problem was the shower was very slow to drain away and at one point I was worried the water was going to go over the top of the shower tray. (But it didn't) We didn't cook in the apartment but it had everything you would need if you choose to. There was even a dishwasher and washing machine. It was very to town and easy to find and easy to check in. I wouldn't hesitate to stay...

"Very good hotel within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Harrogate. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the main menu looked really good and the bar area was large and inviting. There is also an outdoor bar area at the rear of the hotel which was lovely. Only issue is parking - there is a multi storey car park at the rear of the hotel but the purchasing arrangements are not very well displayed. You need to purchase a...

"The room was clean, with a few small rubbish from previous guest. The room itself is quite dated, but that is the nature of the building. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and cheerful. They deserve great praise. Wifi was reliable. The breakfast was tasty and a classic full English breakfast. Coffee machines provided tasty coffee too."

"The property itself was well presented and clean, and the room was also clean on arrival. However, we had booked a "Luxury King Room" and felt the description was somewhat misleading. The bed was actually a double rather than a king-size bed (which I later noticed is stated in the room details), so the room name itself felt confusing. I’d also say the "luxury" description was an overstatement, as the room felt more basic/average than expected. Unfortunately, we had quite a poor night's sleep....

"The hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that left a mark was the bed, it was quite uncomfortable because it was not a double bed but one that was made up for two out of a single and what seemed to be a sort of pull out bed. That was the only minor thing during what was otherwise a lovely stay!! We did highlight to staff and hopefully they will upgrade the bed. Thank you to the staff who were brilliant !!!"
