"Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay."

"Very comfy big bed, shower and taps took ages to get hot, but eventually did. Lots of tea and coffee options in room together with a fridge with wine and snacks if required. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bit strange going in and out at back of the building, but happy to recommend as somewhere central to stay."

I stayed for 16 nights this trip, and as always, the staff are professional, positive, and take care of any needs that arise. As a single woman, I also value the hotel having professional staff at their front desk 24 hours a day. I will continue to stay here every time I’m in town."
