"We were given an upgraded room which was lovely. The staff were great. Gym was good. I didn't realise that spa was only one hour of access a day but it was enough for us. Children can use the pool 7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm so if you want a lane swim, best to avoid those times. Really lovely hotel."

"The room I was given was much older than it appeared in the photos. The carpet was not clean, and there was a strong unpleasant smell as soon as I entered the room. The bathtub glass in the bathroom was dirty, with mold covering the edges. The walls in the room were also in poor condition, with peeling paint and visible damage in several areas."

"A great place to stay. Plenty of private parking at the hotel. This place is 100m from the centre of town. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Warm clean and good sized room. The town is beautiful with plenty of bars and restaurants and beautiful buildings bridges and a castle "

"Lovely inn with comfortable bed and free parking. We enjoyed a good dinner and breakfast. Staff were very friendly and although service was a little slow at dinnertime, they did warn us in advance about ordering at busy times. Handy location for Knaresborough within walking distance of all attractions."
