"Perfectly situated for both the town and the beach. Clean, comfortable room. There was great speed and efficiency at breakfast and dinner - well-staffed so no waiting. Had a quiz one evening and great musical entertainment on another."

"Eine ganz hervorragende Unterkunft. Das beginnt beim Empfang, es wird einem alles abgenommen, das Gepäck etwa oder das Parken. Das Personal ist zurückhaltend, aber immer präsent und ansprechbar. Für alle Wünsche werden Lösungen gefunden. Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön, mit einer Terrasse, die einen großartigen Blick in Garten und Tal ermöglicht. Der Nachmittagstee, Abendessen und Frühstück waren ganz hervorragend. Auch die Zimmer kann man positiv hervorheben. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!"

"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"The room we had was tiny and unfortunately very hot . The noise outside was loud. They advertised an electric charger but when we got there it wasn't working!! So not helpful. The staff were friendly. We didnt use any of the facilities. The hotel was a reasonable price but feel it needs an update."
