The Lookout Rye
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little hotel. Staff were helpful, kind and considerate. The hotel is in a great location for walking around Rye and the car park was easily accessible, albeit £10.30 a day quite expensive. We stayed in room 7, large and comfortable with a large en-suite. Although needed updating, along with the communal areas which could do with a lick of paint and new carpet. Overall a good hotel with a great breakfast."

"Tried a few hotels in Eastbourne but The View is the best. Great service friendly staff. Breakfast staff are lovely. As is the breakfast. Good gym. I do think the bar menu needs reviewing. The restaurant isn’t always open either. But nice restaurants around. "

"Had a fantastic stay at The Landsdowne.
Its a old hotel with lots of history. The staff, reception, breakfast and dinner, absolutely brilliant. Tomas, Hannah, Rosa, Dora, to name a few.
Our room was spacious.
We'll definitely be back. "
