"It's on a spectacular road of large Victorian houses & the room I stayed in was in keeping: it was large & high ceilinged. It & its shower room were very very clean.
The welcome was helpful & friendly.

"The food in the restaurant was very good-nicely cooked.
The room upgrade was very good too, with views over Bute Park.
What was not so good was having to shower in the bath-no walk-in shower..very tricky for an 80 year old like myself..we had tried for a disabled room, but none were available for both the nights we were there. I think one should be warned about this-outdated and unexpected."
