"The newer owners have put a lot of effort into the common areas but the “historic”rooms are uncomfortably small. Only one nightstand with lamp; shower smaller than a cruise ship; sink not wide enough to actually brush your teeth."

"Right across from the Alaska Railroad and very convenient if you are taking the train. My upper level room was larger than most other hotels and ceilings were a lot higher leading to a very spacious experience. The exterior of the property could be cleaner. Didn't have an opportunity to try the breakfast so no opinion on it. Room had an A/C which was very effective but a bit noisy."

"Service sucks with personal room was ok but charged to much sick was plugged up and the drain stopper was broken, the lady was not much help with booking a room in side of the hotel she could not give me a room untill I booked it on line , but she could take the security deposit, whotxhbmade no since to me"

"Excellent breakfast a large and clean and comfortable great TV comfortable beds. The hallways were a little bit messy. They could use the vacuum and the check-in lady was in a bad mood. Other than that I stayed there again."

"I loved this property and my suite was so spacious and comfortable. I also enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the potatoes. Nice nice and super nice and clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to others and I'll stay again as well."
