Close to everything, all within walking distance. Quiet street. Apt had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

The room was spacious and quiet. Staff was helpful. 10-15 min walk to Old Town and marina. Ours was a two-bedroom apartment located one city block from the check-in office, 3rd floor with no lift — fine for us but may not work for everyone.

Gorgeous apartment

Gorgeous apartment in a superb location. The hostel kindly allowed us to leave our suitcases in the reception so we could explore Faro before our apartment was ready.

A last minute, 1 night booking before we flew home found us here. The apartment was spacious for 4 of us, the bathroom is tiny but we had everything we needed. Very clean and in a very good location.

Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. Apartment is one floor up, stairs only, good to know in case that is an issue with suitcases). It was small, but functional and very nicely decorated. You check in at the hostel to get the keys (1 minute walk) and they are open 24/7.

Nicely updated apartment.

Communication about how to check-in was non-existent (you actually have to check-in at the hostel around the corner), but once that was sorted out it was a nicely updated apartment. Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. However, the bathroom shower was slow to drain causing minor flooding on the bathroom floor, and the lobby/hallway was an echo chamber so you heard everyone coming & going at all hours. No AC and very little wind on the top floor when the windows were open. Neighbor's dogs barked all the time from their balcony, which faced our bedrooms.

Appartement met de twee slaapkamers is ruim en mooi. Wel zeer kleine badkamer waar het toilet ook in zit. Het inchecken en de communicatie gingen slecht. Ik ben nu een dag thuis en krijg nu pas een bericht na mijn 6 vragen die ik had over inchecken en het appartement. Ik kreeg ook de sleutel van een verkeerd appartement. Een paar uur later stapte nog een familie daar naar binnen. Toen bleek pas dat wij een groter appartement hadden geboekt en konden we alle spullen weer inpakken en verhuizen. Wel een fles wijn gekregen als troost van het hostel die de incheck regelde.

Endroit sympathique avec accueil chaleureux malgré les reno de l’endroit où le check-in se fait. (C’est à un endroit différent à distance de marche)

L’appartement 1B était globalement fonctionnel et bien situé au cœur du centre ville de Faro. Petit bémol sur la taille de la salle de bain très petite et quelques odeurs de canalisations assez désagréables.

We arrived a little after 6 pm. Their office was closed. Dragged luggage over cobblestones but was unable to connect with them through phone or texting. Finally rented accommodations at another hotel. Would expect a refund and an apology.

Big issue due to double booking

Great issue due to double booking. Lost over 2 hours but at last the host find an intermediary solution of which was so, so. Apparently the apartment I booked was booked twice. Either Hotels.com has created a real mess or the hosts didn’t correctly check their inbox. All in all, I will not recommend this establishment dépisté they helped to find a solution for me and my family. Worst thing of all, Hotels.com customer service wasn’t able to help me!!

Appartement bien placé à proximité du vieux Faro

Très bel appartement, bien placé mais avec un gros défaut, pas de climatisation avec une température dépassant le soir plus de 35 degrés.

Très bien situé, à la fois en plein centre mais dans une rue calme. Bien décoré, bien équipé, terrasse au soleil le matin pour un agréable petit déjeuner. Bon accueil, souriant et arrangeant. Bémol pour le ménage: nous sommes restés une semaine, la femme de ménage est « passée » en milieu de semaine, mais elle s’est contentée de prendre nos serviettes de bain (sans en remettre de nouvelles...), le sol est resté sale malgré notre demande à l’accueil de l’hôtel, ce qui nous a gêné pour notre bébé qui se déplace au sol. Et il n’y avait aucun moyen de nettoyer nous même, ni balai ni aspirateur.
