"Tout a été excellent. Nourriture, emplacement , autobus. Petite note: nous sommes non fumeurs. Notre chambre était située directement au dessus de la terrasse du resto. Évidemment nous voulions avec vue sur le lac. Nous dormons toujours la fenêtre porte ouverte. En soirée vers les 22-23 heures la fumée des fumeurs de la terrasses est très très désagréable . Nous avons fermé notre porte. Une chance qu’il ne faisait pas chaud."

"It is an old grand dame. Do not expect brand new - but boy did it deliver in every way. Beautiful views, maintained trails and gardens, gorgeous pool, insane views! The experience was fantastic."

"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. "Beautiful hotel at a reasonable price in the heart of the Jungfrau region. Very centrally located to all of the nice hikes. The staff was awesome - very kind and helpful. The gym was amazing, buffet breakfast was awesome. Unfortunately the spa and hot tub were under renovations when we stayed but we were able to obtain vouchers to use an outdoor pool nearby! Also the world cup was on during our stay and they set up a big screen outside I the courtyard and played the games! Very caring...

"The staff are amazing. Everyone was as helpful as they could be. My only 2 issues were that I booked a room with a balcony and that wasn’t the case when I showed up. Second issue is how warm the room was. I understand that the weather is something you can’t control, but it has to be known that this place has no A/C and the rooms are very poorly ventilated. "Nice hotel. Classic feel. No elevator which is a challenge if you have large bags. Great breakfast. Staff was nice but had a bit of that European condescending feel. Location is fantastic."

I adored the historic charm that made this place so special from the quaint and comfortable rooms (with an actual skeleton key), to the old music that greets you in the parlor to the idyllic ivy-filled, tree covered outdoor garden to Charlie the beautiful Samoyed hotel pet, this hotel was a brilliant home away from home.
