"The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. "A beautifully maintained boutique hotel. Spotlessly clean, with friendly staff and a virtual concierge in the room. Check in and out was easy. An app explains local amenities. Public transport is outside. There are several good quality local cafes and shops nearby. Room is fresh, with a fridge and shower that work perfectly. "There was a dirty towel in the bathroom when I arrived. It looked like it had been used to wipe a dirty surface. Otherwise everything seemed clean. I did mind the interleading door - I could hear everything the other person in the adjoining room was doing - watching TV, coughing, unzipping something, talking. I think that is not acceptable - if there is an interleading door it should be mentioning when one makes the booking. And you should charge LESS for that room as the noises from the other...

"I arrived a bit early. Nobody wS there, save a sign and two phone numbers to call. I reached someone, and was asked to wait a few minutes. A bit later, i checked in. Bags were carried for me. and i was shown how the electric worked. A nice touch was the cooked to order complimentary breakfast the next morning. Save for those first few minutes, my stay was fine."

"On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very friendly and informed us of everything about the hotel. We had a lovely garden room which had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. The room was very spacious and had everything you required eg. Tea and coffee machine facilities, iron and ironing board, toiletries and plenty of storage. The bar had a great selection of drinks. The breakfast facilities were excellent they had a buffet for cereals, pastures, toast and fruit. Hot...

"The staff were very nice, friendly and cheerful, the bed was comfy, the room was hot, the food (dinner and breakfast) was ok. But that’s about it. I don’t understand how a big hotel chain can justify this as a 4 star? The place was dirty, the furniture tired and you could see paint coming off. Let’s not try and pass it as a character property. It needs investment and serious refurbishment as it’s currently a very old and not looked after b&b than a 4 star boutique. "
