"The room was tiny. The bathroom was so tiny the door closed on the toilet as well as the shower room door. The beds were like water beds no support at all. "Convenient location on the main street in Burntisland. Around 5-6 minute walk from the train station. The train into the Edinburgh Waverly Station, center Edinburgh, departs every 20-25, minutes and takes around 30 minutes into Edinburgh. My room was large, with a large screen TV, Hot water kettle. No mini fridge. No elevator. My room faced the backyard so it was quiet. The window opened a little to let in fresh air."

"We road tripped around Scotland for 10 days and this was by far the worst stay. The cleaner had done there best and the beds where clean with sheets but that’s it. The shower had black mold, the carpet was heavily stained and had a very specific odour, everything was very dated and most items where broken or in need or repair inducing the floor that had soft spots. "I didn't realize when I booked the hotel it was a refurbished boat. It was very cool. The staff was so very helpful in visiting the city and with directions. I enjoyed speaking with Gordon, Brian, Matt and Daniel. Matt advised me to take the tram to the airport and it was a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel as it is unique."

"We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags.
