"Hotel is wonderful but like many places in CA, there are people suffering from drug addiction and related homelessness, making exploring the area unsettling. The nearby businesses have obvious security measures (locked gates, fenced areas with barbed wire, etc.) The hotel is clean, comfortable and the breakfast area is very nice. "

"This property for exceeded our expectations, especially on the stuff that matters most. Excellent mattress, a variety of pillows, spacious room, and large TV. In addition, the facilities were very modern even though it’s an old building. Nice pool and Hot Tub were an added bonus. And the service at the front desk was always friendly, informative, and helpful. they also have a free stretch limo service for guest!!! This was not the newest, but was certainly among the favorite places. We stayed on...

"Very young Front Desk Staff & friendly. I booked online with Expedia & “Breakfast Included” was stated. On arrival, I was told “Breakfast Included”. Next mourning in the dining room, I was handed a menu with prices. I asked if this was the “included” breakfast & told ‘Yes’. I ordered an omelette & beverage. When I finished eating, I was given a bill of $15+. I showed my room key & online reservation to the day manager who as clearing tables. She said only a ‘Continental’ Breakfast” was included...

"Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately...

"Easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, and comfortable too.The property is so well maintained and the gardens are wonderful. As others have noted, the breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had. So much so, my husband threatened to lick the baking dish! Will be looking for recipes to try and duplicate.Only wish it had been warm enough to eat outside. My highest recommendation!"
