"The staff at Moxy were top notch. Friendly. Helpful. Respectful. We were offered tokens for a complimentary cocktail on arrival which we took advantage of at the in lobby guest bar. Complimentary coffee was offered the next morning at this same bar. The hotel was clean and quiet. The location could not be more convenient. Everything was a short walk away. Parking was easy and ample and inexpensive. The room was a little cramped for two people but we were there only overnight so we made it work. Bathroom lighting was too dim so I would suggest upgrading that. We had an ADA compliant shower which was very nice but the water does run out of the shower onto the bathroom floor which could be slippery so I would also recommend finding a solution for that. Overall the Moxy was a great choice for our short stay."

"I enjoyed everything about my stay except the parking, or lack of. To even get to the main entrance you have to navigate a tiny, difficult circle. If even one other vehicle is unloading it becomes a mess. I'm sure that it's mentioned in the property description but weary drivers who are fans of this chain typically, will not understand that it's either valet, on public street or in public parking garage-parking. If you're comparing rates while inbound to Ashville you would think theirs to be extremely reasonable compared to neighboring properties. But with the added valet fee their prices are the same or higher than neighboring properties. Again, the staff, style and condition of the property were top notch. It's just the parking that sucks. "

"The door didn't open easily, and the was the case with another guest as well. My understanding is all the doors are hard to open. It was scary thinking we might not be able to get it open and the attendance had to help us and another couple. The tiles in the bathroom ceiling move. I was told it was the wind, but I'm not sure. It's an older building. Outdated, but clean. The breakfast offerings were cereal, waffles, apples, bagel, and yogurt. The parking was easy with a lot of availability. There were not a lot of guests taking up the spaces. The staff was all very friendly. "
