"Friendly staff willing to go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Shout out to Ingrid for taking care of our room during our stay. Great breakfast! Love the 8pm cookies yum!! Con’s: Time to upgrade mattress in their rooms. Ours was horrible!! Pits in it, squeaks every time you roll over. Bathroom shower needs a makeover. Tub faucet had a constant drip."

"Was able to upgrade to one of the cottages for our stay, which was great, loved being able to park our bikes right in front of our door. The guy at the front desk was super nice and very respectful of my time. Got me in and out at check in super quick. The showers a little small, which was a little hard to get in as a larger person. Wish the walls were just a bit thicker bc I could hear everything from our neighbors in the evening and when they got up super early in the mornings, but a good set...

"I selected this hotel based on the photos and descriptions provided on the Expedia site. Once I checked in and gained admittance to the suite, I discovered it was shabby, broken furniture and dirty. I went back to the desk and said given the condition of the suite, I didn’t want to stay and asked for a refund. Desk person told me OK they would cancel and refund my money. A day later I saw the charge and received an email from the hotel telling me they would not refund my money. Expedia...

"Really nice being close to the water. Room was small but good, comfortable. Pool was nice! :) We only had a bit of trouble with the shower temp and size but besides that all was well. Thanks!"

"Loved the proximity to the beach! The gazebo is also nice to sit in and listen to the ocean. The room was very nice and comfortable. We loved swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. Breakfast was great every morning too! They had lots of options! Would recommend. We will stay here again!"

"Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!"
