"First, the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant are excellent. We arrived early and were wet and exhausted on a chilly morning. We asked if we could possibly leave our bags or check in early. Lucy jumped in and got us into our room right away. We were able to sleep, warm up and relax before heading out to explore. It was wonderful for her to help. Several other times during our stay, Lucy also helped with ideas for what to do and was alsways very friendly and professional. The room...

"Highly recommend the Loft as it was a beautiful space. The Heddle room has a glass window in the door to the bathroom. Technically you could shower in privacy but I would rather a solid door. Staff handled an issue with our original room well. They were immediately available when I called and provided both a short term (moving rooms for the night) and long term solution (fixing the issue) plan within ten minutes. Heddle room is a good option if you need a place to sleep and will be otherwise...

"Our stay at the Hilton Providence was not pleasant. I believe the hotel is under construction. There was no lobby, just a temporary entrance, the elevators sheathed in brown paper, a warren of rooms with no signage on the main floor and our room devoid of amenities. No coffee cubes, a coffee machine that needed repair even to make decaf tea, dismal furnishings, no fan in the bathroom. We should’ve been advised that this was not the time to stay there. "Yes, room was clean including the air quality. I am highly sensitive to mold and allergies. Was NOT an issue what so ever. Please keep in mind that this place is a living place of historic significance. The original training center for fireman since 1856!!!. Please dont judge it until you get inside.
