"We just returned from our 9 day stay and we absolutely loved it! The report was quiet but had enough for all of us to keep occupied. The pool was fabulous and the beach was something out of a dream. The service was top notch and the dinner restaurants were comparable to 5 star fine dining. The cherry on top however was the spa - at first the prices seemed a bit steep but I assure you even for a budget traveller like me, it was worth. Every. Penny. We can’t wait to return!! Thank you Villa del Palmar Flamingos. We are leaving with lifetime memories."

"We stayed at this resort last year and booked through Expedia and loved it but this year unfortunately didn’t have the same experience. Previously we checked in at the Expedia exclusive check in and were told we get a free upgrade. We booked with another couple this time (for our anniversary) they were told they got an upgrade and we didn’t. Our room was old had no wifi and the toilet didn’t work. Eventually at around 8pm we got into another room that was much better and the also gave us some champagne as an apology which was nice . getting a seat by the pool was impossible everything taken by 6 am!!! It was also super Loud in the rooms from 8:30 am to 1am the music doesn’t stop this wasn’t our experience last time. We were also given 3 free reservations with Expedia last time and that was not allowed this time so we didjt get to eat at any of the restaurants as the only availability they had was 9pm. Over all disappointing but the staff are very friendly and helpful "

"We were greatly impressed with the friendly service of all the staff at Villa La Estancia. The restaurants had delicious food plated so perfectly along with outstanding servers. I highly recommend the steak tenderloin at La Casona as well as the shrimp enchiladas at El Patron at the sister resort Villa Del Palmar. The pool service was amazing…Jésus and his team were very friendly and quick to make sure our seats had towels and that we had what we wanted whether that be shade or sun, a pool or ocean view. The bartenders at the swim up bar were friendly and willingly accommodated special requests…the food servers work so hard and were always ready to take a drink or food order and to deliver it quickly. Our rooms were always cleaned well and they have such a nice touch by providing a turn down service around five or six o’clock when they also refresh the bathroom with towels. We also really enjoyed the opportunity to play pickleball. We would highly recommend this resort as we feel you get high quality service staying here. We think the price is worth the value of what you experience here. "

"Friendly staff, very clean rooms with great air condition and ceiling fans. Grounds and pool are wonderful. Beach location is perfecto. Not all the rooms have an ocean view. So be sure to ask when booking or checking in. "
