"Staff were amazing, we stayed during a heatwave and they were helpful with ice from the bar. Other instances such as needing forks, hangers in our room and new towels were treated with the same professionalism ! The rooms do need a bit of updating but for what it was the price is exstremely reasonable. The room was very clean when we arrived. "Had a lovely one night stay. Room was clean and well presented. Staff were welcoming and helpful. There is a decked area for drinks in the evening (as long as there isn’t a wedding on) and you can sit looking at the great view and watch the sunset. The food was amazing, we had a 3 course dinner the night we arrived, great value for money and extremely reasonable priced (my husband is a chef, so is usually hard to please when it comes to eating out, but even he said the food was amazing)....

"Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again."

"Disappointed not to get a balcony, especially since the hotel didn’t seem very busy at the time - felt like a room with one should’ve been available. On the plus side, the spa was excellent and a real highlight of the stay."

"Perfect location in the heart of Cardiff city centre but still at a location where you dont hear so much from the weekends party antics. Ideal for those couple of days away and access to events happening whether it's partying, music or sports events.
