The staff was super friendly and the virtual help through their website/portal was also super helpful. My only complaint is that the walls were really thin, at least for my room. I was able to hear anyone on the stairs and in the common area. But they did offer earplugs hahaha! Otherwise, the location was great and I would book again.

La chambre est très propre et en bonus donne sur l'Arno. Le personnel (Julie, Marvin et Paul) sont tres accueillants, adorables et à nos petits soins. Le local est très calme et proche du centre historique. Grâce à l'emplacement privilégié de l'hôtel, nous avons pu visiter la ville intégralement à pied. Merci Bob W.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a little musty with a slight smell, being on the lower ground floor but we ventilated it by opening the window. Lovely hotel and in a good location, I would recommend for value for money.

The keyless entry system was new to me. I was apprehensive about it first. It took getting used to, but once I familiarized myself with the code and the system, I thought it was better than having a physical key. The receptionist, Julie was excellent. She was very helpful in navigating my way through the downtown area, she knows Florence very well. She advised of the best restaurants to and what places to explore. She was very patient and pleasant. The breakfast included was light and good. The cafeteria attendant was also pleasant. I did mention to the hotel manager that a washcloth, included in the hotel the linen would be a plus. I had to purchase one on my own to complete the linen set.

Good location. Only a short walk to the Uffizi Gallery (10 mins). Piazzale Michelangelo (for the sunset view) is across the river, and you can take the town bus from the side street by the hotel (bus 13) to reach the viewing point. Generally, this boutique hotel is decently simple and modern, yet offers maximum comfort — exactly what we needed. High-quality bathroom toiletries. Good room amenities, free to self-replenish from the common area. Our room is very spacious, featuring an original arched ceiling and a big window facing the middle patio with green plants and garden chairs — it felt like we were living in someone's old home. It made our 4-night stay very pleasant, like a home away from home. Staff are friendly, and night manager Paul was especially helpful, giving us his best local tips on where to dine and enjoy Florence like a local. We are truly grateful, and it made our holiday very special.

Cet établissement était agréable. Il ne correspond pas à la catégorie hôtel que j'avais sélectionnée mais plutôt B&B. Etablissement pour les jeunes hyperconnectés, dossier en ligne avec plusieurs mails reçus, bref il faut être connecté, ce n'est pas ce que je recherche en vacances. Personnel très agréable. Personne sur place la nuit.

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Bob W Santa Croce verbracht. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen (20 Gehminuten vom Dom entfernt) in Flussnähe. Unser Zimmer war modern und gut ausgestattet, inkl. Bügeleisen und - brett, was sehr hilfreich war. Das Bett war groß und bequem. Das Bad war mit einer kleinen Stufe betretbar und damit nicht barrierefrei. Das Zimmer selbst war etwas dunkel und zum Hinterhof gelegen. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört, da wir eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Besonders gefallen hat uns die tolle Terrasse und die Möglichkeit, sich Kaffeekapseln, Wasser, Seife, Klopapier etc. selbst aufzufüllen, wenn etwas fehlte. Es gibt auch Locker für Koffer, falls man sein Gepäck noch vor Check-in oder nach Check-out unterbringen möchte. Frühstücken kann man auch vor Ort sowie kostenfrei ein Gym in der Nähe besuchen. Wir haben beides nicht wahrgenommen, daher kann ich nicht viel dazu sagen. Der Check-in und Check-out laufen übrigens beide online. Wir fanden es super praktisch.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bob W Santa Croce for its nice room, good location and friendly staff. It is opposite to Piazzale Michelangelo across Arno River and offers a nice river view as well.
