Loggiato dei Serviti is a beautifully restored historic building on a lovely, historic piazza. The location is wonderful - just down the street from the Duomo. Breakfast in the morning has an array of choices - cheese, meat, eggs, cereal, fruit, pastry- everything I could want. This is a wonderful place to stay when in Florence.

Our suite (two bedrooms, one with sitting area, and bathroom) was wonderful. Old wooden furniture, huge beds, high beamed ceiling…felt like a proper taste of Florence. If you want bland luxury, this probably isn’t the place for you. But for us it was just right: charm, character and warm friendly service plus a very convenient location.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Location is great practically for major galleries, Duomo etc but also beautiful in a Piazza. Staff welcoming, professional and friendly. I'd recommend the breakfast. After so many "brand" hotels this is an absolute delight.

The staff were amazing and very helpful regarding sites to see. We had lost some items and they were very helpful about where to go to get help and sights along the way.
