This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Despite our early arrival, the staff was able to accommodate us with a room right away. While we waited, we explored the property and were immediately impressed by the stunning views. Our bags were delivered to our room for us, allowing us to fully enjoy our time on the grounds. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job keeping our room spotless and ensuring our refrigerator was always stocked with water. Overall, the property offered breathtaking views, excellent cleanliness, and warm, friendly service. We loved every bit of it 10/10 recommend!

Room was very clean and authentic Italian decor. The hotel is a renovated mill right in the river. Front staff so very helpful. The restaurant had incredible food. Best dessert I have ever had. Chocoltiamo a creation of the chef. Perfect textures and flavours of chocolate. Couldn’t have been happier with this choice of place to stay.

Hotel Mulino de Firenze is an absolutely stunning property! The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, with a rustic charm that makes the whole place feel peaceful and authentic. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, always making sure we felt welcome. One of the highlights was the gorgeous sauna and spa area — rustic, cozy, and available for free private bookings, which was such a treat. The breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful, with a great variety to start the day right. We also appreciated the convenient shuttle service into the city center for just 2 euros each way. The entire hotel smelled amazing, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. It’s a bit outside the main area, so it’s not really walking distance to amenities, but the quiet countryside feel more than makes up for it. Just plan accordingly for transportation. A truly charming and memorable stay — highly recommended!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast and service was excellent! Very helpful with taxi services and shuttle accomodations! We also needed guidance with transportation at the train station and staff provided all the useful tips which prepared us for our first train experience in Italy! I felt intimidated with the train travel planning but staff was very knowledgeable!

Fantastic hotel with great services. Utilized the pool, the laundry service, the lobby bar, the safe underground parking. Reception is great. They speak fantastic English and help guide you through your trip into the city of Florence if you’re driving.

This hotel is situated on a beautiful plot of land next to the Arno river, with a picturesque courtyard, excellent amenities, and extremely professional and helpful staff. Getting here is a little tricky as it is a little out of the way, so it is probably easiest to take a taxi if arriving from the train station. The hotel does offer a shuttle service at times throughout the day that picks up and drops off about a 15-20 minute walk from the action of downtown Florence, which is easier than taking the bus. The restaurant, bar, and breakfast provided were all excellent. There is an "optional" service charge at the end of the stay, which seemed fair given how helpful the staff was in arranging transportation, spa service, and servicing the room. If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the spa! We would definitely stay here again

The property and staff were incredible! The only dislike was the drinks at the bar were VERY expensive. Otherwise a great experience, delicious food and fantastic staff. I sent the staff several questions before our arrival and they were very responsive. They also helped us set up an airport ride in the morning.

I was at first thrilled with the visuals, as the pictures on Expedia don't do it justice. But I booked a room for 2 adults with 2 beds. One bed was obviously very well used. The other one was impossible to sleep on. So don't pay these people for 2 beds no matter what you do. Then there was the non stop flow of mosquitos through the AC to eat us all night long. Then when I was told that it was no problem to NOT pay their self created gratuity of 100 euros, and chose not to. The girl with the orange hair at the front desk purposely made both of my credit cards get denied. When both cards had in excess of $10,000 credit on them. Presumably just to embarrass me. Then my daughter had to pay the $340 extra for meals and other money that was wasted on this place. Plus it's WAY far away from ANYTHING interesting. And the " Free Shuttle Service" that they offer was always mysteriously booked full. So anytime we wanted to get anywhere, we had to walk down an extremely narrow lane that was walled off on both sides 4 feet high, so if a car racing past happened to miscalculate the distance, then you would be at least seriously injured. Walk 20 minutes to a bus stop, and another 40 minuts on the bus. So add an hour of travel between the hotel and Florence both ways. Unless you have a car. I'm 58, and have never stayed anywhere so completely unacceptable! Stay AWAY!!

Merveilleux

Superbe hotel bien situe sur l Arno a 15 minutes de Florence. Tres belle batisse avec piscine.chambre spacieuse et tres confortable. Personnel tres accueillant, sympathique aux petits soins pour nous.les chiens sont les biens venus,sans frais supplémentaires,et il y a un parking ferme et gratuit.un hotel au top

The staff was very friendly and helpful but limited transportation access and major construction nearby not disclosed which made things difficult.
