"Clean room, stocked with beach and bath towels. Bed and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable allowing for a great night sleep. Bath had a personal jacuzzi tub. Their outdoor jacuzzi along with their spa robes felt like a luxurious experience at the spa. The wife and I bought a wine bottle, and their front desk provided the cork opener and glasses. Breakfast was a homier version of a hotel's continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and offered golf cart rides to the local beach."

"We loved a one night stay at Riverside cottages. We were there for a graduation from college of Charleston. And our whole family had a beach house at Folly Beach so we decided to just rent one of the bedrooms in the cottages. It was very pleasant. Everything was clean a good night sleep. "There isn't enough to justify complaining, but there also isn't enough to justify praise, hence the OKAY rating. Cost was too high for what was being offered, 10 years ago this would have been a $100 hotel stay, not $250, so the price went up but it's still a $100 hotel stay, take what you will from that."

"We had a suite which had nice kitchen amenities and two TVs. Unfortunately, only one of the TVs would work consistently well. We had a balcony with a very nice view, the breakfast was great and changed abit every morning. However, there was no stopper in the bathtub, so I could not take a bath (only a shower). I reported this and asked to have it fixed, but it never was. On the last night there appeared a VERY LARGE COCKROACH in our bathroom. We were able to trap it under a garbage can. I...

"We had the best time on our girls trip. The rooms are huge and we absolutley loved the breakfast each morning. Either delivered to the room or delivered to the rooftop. Happy hour and cookies and milk were a perfect touch. The staff was super helpful and accomodating. Super Clean, great rooftop and beautiful facility!"

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which was perfect for us. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the main living room, and each bedroom had its own bathroom. We were very comfortable staying here, it was an easy drive into the heart of Charleston, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown. All in all, a great place to stay, with lots of room to unwind and relax."
