Lovely stay at Tides. Location and staff were great. Room was nice and very clean but bathroom a little tired. Fantastic view and location on beach in Folly. Staff on front desk (Eli) and manager (David) handled concerns excellently. Concierge staff Jim and Carlton welcoming and helpful everyday. Would stay again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

A very pleasant surprise.

This was our third stay at The Ansonborough, and this time we were celebrating a special anniversary. The hotel made our trip extra memorable with a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely local treats waiting for us in the room. We absolutely love the spacious rooms, with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space to properly unpack and settle in. The small kitchenette areas and separate living spaces are a wonderful added bonus, giving you somewhere comfortable to relax after a day exploring Charleston....

This should have a higher score than 4 It is a bit dated - but having said that everything is spotlessly clean and functional Our room was fantastic with a settee to relax Big shower area The bed was very very good... Comfortable and big The breakfast was a great choice and very fresh. It's between 6-12 dollars in an uber to town depending what time of day A big shout out to Precious and the lady who does the food - they could not do enough for us and were exceptionally attentive. Any problems...

The Loutrel is a very stylish hotel - modern and bright, with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of lovely free snacks, room mini bar with a free cocktail hour each day. We highly recommend and will return if ever back in Charleston.

Modern and good size accommodation. Easy to drive into Charleston. Breakfast items could be improved eg cooked items/fresh fruit salad/yogourts

The Hotel is in a great position between King Street and Meeting Street ideal for walking to the Waterfront and shops. Excellent facilities and very helpful staff. Breakfast more than adequate. Lovely time there for both of us.

My room was very quiet at night with no road noise. It was clean, but a bit old re. paintwork etc. The fridge had no control button and so the items froze a couple of times! Breakfast was good, with nice eggs, but it was a shame it finished at 9.00am on weekdays - sometimes people like to lie-in on their holiday! The customer service from Katrina and Swantelle was very good, but one of the other receptionists was a bit abrupt. It was lovely to chat with you Katrina! This hotel is in a very...

Very modern hotel with kitchen, comfortable beds, very relaxing stay.

Very comfortable bed, spacious room “, good breakfast with included.

Very helpful staff. Especially Stefanie who was so helpful and very kind.

We loved the pool and pool bar. We also visited the upstairs Lounge for live music. We used the bus from just outside to get into Charleston it’s $2 a ride The rooms were much better than we expected and there was loads of parking

Great value for money property. Situated along a nice creek area, with a dock and swimming pool. The rooms are basic, but perfectly clean and comfortable. A/c worked great too. The property felt safe and I would 100% stay here again. The free breakfast is one of the few that’s actually worth going down for, with lots of variety to choose from.

From walking in the door to leaving this hotel and staff went above and beyond nothing to much trouble and staff friendly room and hotel spotless and grounds amazing

We enjoyed our stay. It's close to a lot of the main attractions.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained.
