"The hotel is located right across the street from the train terminal. Once checked in, we settled into a spacious room. Breakfast was included in the rate and it was a very, nice and fresh assortment. The hotel is within walking distance of the ferry, which will take you to a number of islands in the coast. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with directions if needed. I would book it again."

"BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We had a very bad experience as we we NOT aware this property was far away from Salerno, it is under construction, they are renovating the hotel and they will accommodate you in the old smelly rooms which were horrible. We were given a very hard time, we arrived late, we were hungry, they were not considerate at all. After making us view several rooms that were totally unacceptable, after discussing for like an hour we had to pay extra to stay in a renovated room. The location is not great at all, the hotel is located right next to a port, not desirable. The breakfast was just ok, you had to pay extra for eggs, very disappointing"

"Had a wonderful stay at the Zelzar Residence. The view is immaculate from the room overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Coastline! The room was clean and secure. The staff provided excellent check-in procedures. Parking can be challenging with the narrow roads and limited access. Strongly encourage to contact the staff for most up-to-date details. Great view from the local café that provides the breakfast. Just a short walk up the road. Highly recommend this stay!!"

"Super clean and was surprised what a gorgeous room. Bathroom was spotless. Location was walking distance to everything. A barking dog in the middle of the night was the only bad thing."

"Staff was extremely accomodating. Ilaria helped us plan our trip on the Ferry to Positano and on the train to Pompeii. Our suite overlooked the sea, we were able to keep the door open to the patio and could hear the waves all night. The patio was very spacious. The suite included a kitchen with oven, stove and refrigerator stocked with complimentary drinks. Plenty of space and very clean with daily service. Breakfast was fresh every morning. Dining area overlooked the sea. The town of Vietri sul Mare is wonderful with many interesting shops and plenty of restaurants. Bring your walking shoes to get to town, or take the local bus/shuttle. Easier to walk back from town since its downhill. The beach and marina area are right down the steps from the property including shops and restaurants. We will be back!"

"Room was clean and attractive and the amenities were appreciated for our overnight stay.The main concern was the stairs to reach the unit, which are significant and steep. It was very difficult with luggage and we required help. We were grateful that the host's husband assisted us to get luggage up stairs and was porter for us on departure at additional cost. "

"We were treated like royalty by the staff, room was very clean with a wonderful view. Dinner was fabulous and the spa was a much appreciated bonus, including great massages. "
