"I was pleasantly surprised. For the price the hotel and amenities were good. The hot breakfast was good. The landscaping could use some attention. What stood out the most was the staff. Almost every one of them that I encountered were wonderful. They all acted like they enjoyed working there. The housekeeping staff and daytime front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast lady was exceptional. She offered to heat up more gravy for us just minutes before breakfast service was done....

"We were allocated a disability room despite being able bodied and booking months ahead. That was not a problem initially as it was just 1 night. When I went to shower we found the shower head was not held by the clamp and very low. It would not stay in shower position. My hubby held it for me so I could shower. The nozzles were spraying sideways so I went to rub the silicon to straighten them but noticed the shower head was covered in a brown substance. It was nasty. I requested to be moved....

"Property clean. Staff nice, especially Don in the lounge/bar. He gives fantastic friendly service. Our only complaints were the air conditioning in the room was so loud, hard to sleep. TV in old and controls not real intuitive needs updating for both. Being there on a Saturday it was disappointing the restaurant/bar not open until 5PM. "Kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking. Expedia website shows they have ice, cooking utensils etc. They don't have any of that they will offer ice trays."
