"The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The bedding was amazing Mattress a bit soft for our taste, but that’s a hard one to get right."

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. It sits across the street from a beautiful park and is within walking distance to everything you would want to experience in Savannah. Our room needed some definite upgrades that would be very inexpensive yet would make a huge difference in the room and its appearance. The carpet was old and dirty, bathroom...

"The Ann Savannah was a great place to stay for my quick trip to Savannah. The parking and check in process was quick and easily. Staff at the front dress were professional and helpful. I took off 1 star on Maintenence only because the curtains in the bedroom were not hung correctly (the "pull" wand to close the curtains was not attached to the curtains)....but the blinds worked and were sufficient. ...

"FOR HOW EXPENSIVE IT WAS I REALLY WAS EXPECTING MORE FROM A MARRIOTT. WE CHECKED IN AT ONE BUILDING AND THE ROOM WAS IN THE NEXT ONE, THEY HAD VALET OUT IN THE PARKING LOT I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WOULD TRY AND OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU. THE ROOM WAS CLEANED DAILY BUT MAINLY EMPTY GARBAGE AND TAKE TOWELS, NO CLEANING UP GLASSES OR VACUMMING. WHEN I GOT THE BILL THERE IS DAILY CHARGES I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE. EXPECT TO PAY HIGH CHARGES AT THEIR BARS AND RESTRAUNTS"

"The location was terrific. Close to just about everything you want to walk to in historic Savannah. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The negatives- Our balcony doors would not lock or even seal up without tying bathrobe belts to the handles and to a table to keep tight seal on door that would keep out the road noise. The sofa was stained and dirty. The bathroom smelled really bad and had pee stains around base of toilet. The best part was the noise machine! Amazing amenity!"

"I booked one of the rooms that had access to the courtyard on the ground floor. It was nice to have the option to sit outside, although people did walk by outside. We were able to take our luggage out through the courtyard to our car without having to pull it upstairs to the check-out desk and then downstairs to the street. Chuck (?) was very helpful. The breakfasts were were fresh and filling. We had omelets, bacon, muffins, croissants with jams and butter, yogurt and fruit, juices and coffee....

"The hotel is located on the river with a great bar and restaurant. You can walk everywhere. This is a great hotel."

"DeSoto is a lovely property. The bellmen/valet were so gracious. The act they really like their jobs. Convenient valet parking. The $53/daily was a little much, but valet service was superb."

"Room was clean however the shower was awful. It was scalding hot and had no water pressure when turned down. They didn’t provide clean towels unless requested and often didn’t have enough on hand. Trash was not removed throughout the entire stay. Front desk attendants didn’t seem to care about making the stay great!!"

"My only real complaint was the room. After an 20 hour day, I went to get in bed and my bed didn’t have a fitted sheet. With it being so late and a long day I decided to use the non fitted sheet. It worked but was uncomfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. The valet service I recommend, even if you stay for one night like we did."

"Property is a little old. But besides not having a remote, that the staff replaced that evening when we returned, everything was very good. Nice to have a a good ‘free’ breakfast. Convenient to uber to Grayson stadium."
