"Our second stay here and lovely room looking out to koalas. Recommend getting the animal view room especially if you have kids travelling with you. Night tour was really great on our first visit a couple of years ago but quite underwhelming this time as we didn’t really see anything at all, aside from the dingoes. "Fantastic location overlooking Sydney harbour. Five minute walk to tram stops, ferries, shops and restaurants. Rooms immaculately clean, beds VERY comfortable, staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 6 nights in June ‘26 and would highly recommend. Oh and do splurge on the breakfast buffet at least once during your stay, the choice, quality and quantity is amazing!"

"This is a great hotel with a very convenient location to the Sydney Harbor. We were able to walk everywhere and were also right next to Circular Quay. Many of our tours also picked us up either at the hotel or nearby at the harbor. Club level food was good and drinks were also nice. The staff were efficient and friendly. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job daily. The guys who helped with baggage and cars were so nice and helpful. Great hotel experience overall!"

"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"Nice and clean good size room"

"If you’re looking for a clean, modern, family room in the heart of Sydney this is an excellent choice. We had a HUGE room with a king bed, queen bed and king single so it was perfect for me and my teens. Large TV which we could chrome cast to. Excellent bathroom with wonderful rain head and excellent ventilation. Pillows were wonderful. Free drinks too! Highly recommend. Breakfast buffet is not great and would recommend having breakfast elsewhere."

"My first back packers place. Loved the whole vibe of the place, so relaxed, casual and inclusive (family and all ages). Loved the rooftop view and hanging out there with our pajamas, etc. The community pantry was also great although I did not use it as I played ahead for breakfast. I only took one star out because the breakfast did not have protein options like eggs, or bacon or sausages."
